hi i am an intermediate player Bassist i am looking to be able to play tunes in every key…is there a way to do that with your program?
Thanks, Aida
Aida,
That’s one of the main purposes of PlayJazzNow. You can purchase tracks for tunes in many keys OR work on basic progressions (like Blues, ‘Rhythm’ Changes or Turnarounds) in all 12 keys. Have a look around and you’ll be able to find all kinds of stuff to help you with key independence.
Hello, Lewis is my name, would like to know how important is a good bass.
A good instrument is always important. What kind and how much you can or want to spend is also important. Not sure how to answer your question more specifically.
As an upright bass student and longtime musician, I find the tracks extremely helpful to play with and enjoyable to listen to. The players are tasty and musical. Sound quality is solid. It’s hard to imagine better execution of the music minus one concept for bass players wanting to learn jazz standards.
Thanks very much Paul.
Hi. I just found your site and am exploring. Do you have a membership program which would allow me to explore and sample various tracks? Thanks. Jesse
No, I’m sorry. We don’t have a membership program.
